Privacy Policy
Overview
Canva Kill provides an AI-assisted design studio for generating, editing, and exporting marketing and presentation assets. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- account details such as your name, email address, avatar, and authentication method
- workspace information such as organization memberships, invitations, and role assignments
- content you create in the studio, including prompts, design layouts, brand kit settings, exports, and uploaded assets
- billing information handled by our payment provider for subscriptions and invoicing
- technical usage data such as browser metadata, page visits, generation events, export events, and error logs
How We Use Information
We use information to:
- authenticate users and secure accounts
- generate, save, edit, and export designs
- personalize workspace settings and brand kits
- process subscriptions, trials, renewals, and billing support
- measure product usage, improve reliability, and investigate abuse or fraud
- send transactional messages such as account notices, billing events, and generation-complete emails
AI Features
Prompts, layout instructions, and brand settings may be processed by third-party AI providers strictly to fulfill generation and editing requests. We do not use private customer prompts to train public foundation models unless a provider explicitly states that processing is isolated and non-training by default.
Storage and Retention
Design JSON, exports, thumbnails, uploads, and related metadata are stored until you delete them or close your account, subject to legal or security retention obligations. Backups and logs may persist for a limited operational period.
Sharing
We share data only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, storage, analytics, authentication, email, billing, and error-monitoring vendors. We do not sell personal information.
Cookies and Analytics
We may use cookies or similar technologies for authentication, security, analytics, and product performance. Where required, consent controls are presented before non-essential tracking is enabled.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect customer data, including authenticated access controls, encrypted transport, and environment-based secret management. No system can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices
You may:
- update profile information from account settings
- delete designs, uploads, and brand kits from the studio
- cancel subscriptions through billing settings
- request account deletion, which removes or anonymizes personal data where legally permitted
International Processing
Your data may be processed in countries outside your home jurisdiction by our infrastructure and service providers. We take steps to ensure appropriate contractual and security protections are in place.
Children
The service is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the service after an update becomes effective means the revised policy applies.
